If you agree to go to marriage counseling with your abuser should you move out to show you’re serious this time

I think you should have moved out before. You’re just asking for more trouble if you stay there. I have very low expectations for any man who would hit a woman. Answer Absolutely!By moving out you are making the statement that you aren’t taking anymore of the abuser’s attitude and THEY have to prove to you that they are trying to get help and are improving.I know it’s tough, but that’s what it’s called, “tough love.”Also, the separation will help the abuser to think more clearly and hopefully realize what he/she has become and do something about it.Good luckMarcy
